Update: I really love the new update. Kids Academy Co always keeps their apps on an upward slope. Theyve even added a new game. The new Money Counting game is loads of fun and very educational. A great way for young ones to get a jump start on their education. The update seems to have improved the overall look and quality of the app as well. Cant wait to see what else they add in the future. The preschool and kindergarten app is a great app for kids ages 5 & under. It helps my 4 year old to develop her fine motor skills and teachers her Alphabet recognition, which is crucial to her learning how to read. The game features fun and cute characters to keep her attention.

The new update comes with a new game! My neighbors son is really excelling and she and I both agree its this app that has helped him over the curb. My neighbor has been having such a hard time getting her 4 year old to focus and prepare for Pre-k. He is just not interested...at least he wasnt! I came across this app and downloaded it for him while they were visitng and he loves it! He is learning and playing and showing an interest! Thanks Kids Academy!

The Preschool and Kindergarten learning game is colorful, fun and engaging; it also teaches subjects such as the ABCs, and allows children to trace their letters and numbers. (Wastes less paper and trees, WIN!). Its fun and interactive and my son enjoys it. UPDATE: My now 4 year old son still enjoys playing this game. He now recognizes 21 of 24 letters by sight. He still needs to work on 1-10, but with this game I am confident hell get there, as he already recognizes several numbers by sight.

My daughter loves all the kids academy app. Its fun and she loves all the songs. I really like that they added a lot of things since we first downloaded it. I love that shes learning numbers and letters and also writing them. She loves tracing numbers and letters. Shes learning letter sounds. This app is fun and interactive. Highly recommend it!

Both my twins are living this app, they have been using it to help them with their numbers and letters as well as sounds. The bright colored games keep them entertained and keep their attention without boring them.

The new updated version is really wonderful! My children use this daily to learn numbers and letters. Its a perfect teaching app for the little ones and really easy to use. This is something I love to let them to enjoy playing daily. ♥

*UPDATE* We have been using the Preschool and Kindergarten app with our four-year old for quite some time. Our son enjoys these fun, educational activities and he has learned many new skills. The simple-to-use design and colorful, lively images keep his focus and attention without distracting from his learning progress. This is a well designed learning app for preschoolers. *ORIGINAL* Our toddler enjoys limited tech time on the iPad, so we research to find apps that offer the best value of his time. This app is engaging and educational while fostering his sense of independence. We enjoy the fun tracing activities that are useful in developing his hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Updated 12/3: When kids can learn as well as enjoy apps, Mom is happy. My young ones love this app and are thrilled that it has been updated. With fun graphics and music and bright colors, it has their interest. They are learning their ABC’s and numbers and how to practice writing them! They love the animals and ask me for the app when we are waiting in doctor’s offices or anytime we have free time.

*** Regarding the new update! I did not think this app could get any better but it has. Love all of the improments and updates. All of my grandkids LOVE this app!*II am so happy that I have found Kids Academy & all of their wonderful learning programs. I have 4 grandkids - 5,4,2,1 & I babysit regularly & try to work & teach them while we are together. And of course they know how to play on the phone & ipad. I feel a little less guilty letting them play on the electronics now - since they are learning as they go. My oldest starts kindergarten & already helps the 3 youngest learn as he does. Love these apps.

Love the new counting money addition! Ideal concept for children pre-school to kindergarten. Practicing letters and tracing as well as alphabet and fun games. Great for fine motor skills for learning to write. My daughter enjoyed the tracing due to her small hands and fingers to get the feel of how letters are made, freehand is helpful for kids who may be struggling with fine motor skills. Developer hit nail on head with ages 3-5!

For such a large app, there isnt a whole lot to it. I think a child would be slightly disappointed to see how much is in this app but then they cant do anything with it, as it is all extra purchases. The games that are In the app are very simple, easy to understand, fun and quick. There isnt really any problems with them. What I will say though is that when you go to hit the "x" once you have finished the game, you seem to have to hit it a few times, as its very touchy. I really do like the graphics and the music in the background. I would love the app if there was more to it though.

Update 12/5/15: My six year loves all the new updates! It is very age appropriate. There are bright colors and great graphics. Plus the game focuses on letters, tracing, reading, and more! I love all of the updates they have made to this app. It has made it more efficient and fun to use. Great new features with the graphics and sound.

**update** Weve been long fans of the Kids Academy Co for all of our boys and this latest update of a game we already like I no different. We downloaded this game originally over a year ago and my boys still like it. They enjoy the game feel and I enjoy the learning aspect. We try to keep their technology time as learning time and games like this are perfect. The app is filled with several activities to get your little ones learning off on the right foot. They are learning while playing and this is the best kind to ensure it sticks with them. Truly the the last update made a great game even better for little hands! My youngest has started preschool and we are working hard on how to write his letters. I am constantly looking for free apps like this one that inspire learning, help with the task at hand and keep him entertained. Lack of variety often fails to keep my sons interest with free apps but he thoroughly enjoys this app and it keeps him coming back for more.
